The Healthy Truth: Year-end roundup

Healthy-truth-round-upDear Friends,

It’s that time of the year when we reflect on the past twelve months – but also look forward to the New Year. In 2016, I began my journey of sharing with you my insights on health and so far I’ve been having a blast!

I have shared stories from my life to help you better understand your own health issues, along with wellness tips and recommendations that I myself have found useful.

When I began The Healthy Truth, I wanted it so be something that people would return to each week for the latest in health. But more than that, I wanted to be someone you felt comfortable coming to. I wanted to speak to you, the reader, as a friend and I wanted you to trust me, in return, as a friend.

I hope I have managed to accomplish that in the short amount of time that I have been writing these weekly blog posts and I hope that in the New Year you will continue to keep me and The Healthy Truth in mind as a resource to help improve your health.

As we reflect on the past year and move on to the new one, I thought it would be a good idea to put together a roundup of the top Healthy Truth posts. Below you will find some of the most popular posts with useful information that I am sure can be easily incorporated into your new 2017 health routine.

Before I sign off, I’d like to wish all of you and your families a very happy holiday season and a healthy and safe New Year. As for me, I’ll continue to provide you with the latest in health in the coming 2017.

Until next year!

The Healthy Truth: 30-day challenge

I challenge you to take control of your life and health over the next 30 days. Our bodies need care 365 days a year, and with all stress and eating associated with holidays, it just doesn’t make sense to hit pause at this time. Continue reading…

The title of this week’s piece may throw you off a bit as you may be thinking to yourself, “You can’t possibly avoid stress!” For the most part, you aren’t that wrong. But before I explain how you can go about avoiding it, it’s important to understand what exactly stress is. Continue reading…

Aging is something that is frequently discussed but not very well understood, and the anti-aging business is always prospering. Every company suggests that they have found the fountain of youth with a new cream, serum, injection, or pill, and yet we all aren’t looking that much younger. Continue reading…

The Healthy Truth: Essential oils for healing

Have you heard about the “new” health craze? I use the quotations because it’s actually a very old technique, which happens to be gaining quite a momentum in recent years. I’m talking about essential oils that seem to be all the rage nowadays. Continue reading…

The Healthy Truth: Fit and detox teas

Ask anyone who knows me, and they will tell you I’m obsessed with tea (I’m drinking some right now as I write this). I have a tea for just about anything. Sore throat? I have a tea. Feel a cold coming up? I have a tea for that, too. People are honestly amazed at my tea collection and at the fact that I could essentially “treat” anything with some sort of tea. Continue reading…
