Wear Appropriate Footwear: Sometimes, knee pain starts in the foot or ankles. Wearing the right type of footwear can make a significant difference in joint pain and injury risk. Elect shoes that fit well, have good support, and avoid spending too much time in sandals or heels.
Practice “RICE”: If you have a minor injury or arthritis flare, use the RICE method. RICE stands for: rest, ice, compression, and elevation. Taking a little time to recuperate can help you get back on your feet.
