Crazy myth puts woman’s life at risk

Crazy myth puts woman riskThere are crazy health myths and trends that surface from time-to-time but these are not necessarily something you should try to take on your own to improve your health.

There is a growing trend of injected stuff into our bodies to feel better, but one woman took this a bit too far.

Fruits and vegetables are no doubt healthy and we know eating them regularly can provide health benefits. This gave one woman the idea of trying to increase the absorption of fruits and vegetables by injecting a smoothie into her veins.

The woman from Chine blended a beverage of 20 different fruits and vegetables and added it to an intravenous drip to go straight into her body. Apparently the woman thought she would get the benefits of the nutrients found in fruits and vegetables much quicker but in reality this was very dangerous.

She first experienced itchiness of her arm followed by a fever. Once she went to the hospital she began to develop infections in her liver, kidneys, and heart along with multiple organ failure. After a slew of medications and treatment the woman was back on track to better health.

We all strive to be healthy but we shouldn’t try to achieve this through taking short cuts and simply injecting nutrients through our veins. As easy as this would be, unfortunately you can’t take an easy way to health and this can only be achieved through eating well and exercising regularly.

Avoid any crazy quick fixes or injectable solutions as these will only put you in more harm’s way then actual better health. And lastly, eat or drink your fruits and vegetables – never inject them.
